Reinforcement of resident acceptance and environmental friendliness

  • Offshore wind power desired by residents

    1. Implement support for surrounding areas suitable for offshore wind power characteristics

       - Provide onshore power generation (within 5km from the generator) and other surrounding areas
        to provide practical support in accordance with the Offshore Wind Power Ordering Law

       - Prepare a separate distribution method, such as adding registered fishermen to the distribution
        criteria, so that the impact of fishing is fully considered

    2. Strengthening local support through local government-led projects

       - Contributing to the development of local communities by giving REC weight (maximum 0.1) to local
         governments when implementing projects led by local governments such as integrated complexes

  • Offshore wind power that actively collects residents' opinions

    1. Establishment of pre-notification procedure before permission for power generation
      business

       - In order to collect opinions from residents and stakeholders at the initial stage of the project,
        a pre-notification procedure

  • Environment-friendly offshore wind power

    1. Introduction of construction method to minimize environmental impact and use of products

       - Application of construction method to minimize noise, vibration, and floating debris
        during construction

    2. Mandatory monitoring of the marine environment

       - Investigate the impact on the marine environment for up to three years after the completion
        of offshore wind power facility construction and implement damage reduction measures
        if damage occurs
