Benefit

  • 01

Full-scale promotion of government-led, resident participatory offshore wind power

      · Prevention of reckless development and conversion to planned development through government-led selection of
       appropriate sites

      · Residents participate from the planning stage and share the benefits of development

  • 02

Accelerate the transition to clean and safe energy

      · Achieving the 3020 target of 12 GW in 2030 and promoting the achievement of 20 GW by 2034

      · Promoting a 40% reduction in LCOE by 2030 by expanding the offshore wind power market
       * LCOE: (2025) KRW 225~282 won/kWh->(30) KRW 132~165 won/kWh (BNEF Global decline applied)
  • 03

Realize the Green New Deal by revitalizing the local economy and creating jobs

      · Creation of 87,000 jobs per year through large-scale private investment (total KRW 63 trillion won)

Promotion of enhancement of economic feasibility and industrial competitiveness of businessman

      · Reduced the total project period by more than 2 years through government-led site discovery, improvement of
licenses and permits, and process improvement (currently at least 7 years -> 5 years of improvement)

      · Support for securing economic feasibility through REC calculation method and weight reorganization considering
       offshore wind power

      · characteristics Enhancing competitiveness in domestic industry, price and technology by creating a market of 1GW
or more annually, developing large-capacity floating offshore wind power technology and supporting demonstrations
