01Ulsan City Floating Offshore Wind Power

Ulsan Floating Offshore Wind Power is a key business for Ulsan-type energy conversion. It is realizing the Green New Deal, creating jobs, and creating a new wave with private investment, such as power generation companies and manufacturers.

Currently, the project is underway with the goal of constructing a floating offshore wind farm with more than 9GW by 2030, and has passed the preliminary feasibility investigation of the Donghae 1 floating offshore wind power project. If the Ulsan floating offshore wind farm, the world's largest in terms of a single complex, is completed, 100,000 jobs will be created, electricity will be supplied to 576 households, and 9.3 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) will be reduced per year. At the 'Floating Offshore Wind Power International Forum 2021' held in 2021, parts, technologies, and services of domestic offshore wind power manufacturers were introduced on the development trend and industry prospects of floating offshore wind power.

All development private investment companies appeared in the keynote speech, and Shell Korea made a presentation under the theme of 'Powering Progress-Strategy for achieving carbon neutrality of Shell'. And Equiner South Korea, Total Energy, Oceanwind, and CIP followed suit.
